My feelings about our Country

I believe this Country is under attack with Government. We are in serious trouble and if we don't stop this governemnt will take control of everything. What happened to Freedom of speach and of Religion? We can take it back, we still have time if we act now. We have triomphed before and we can see it happening again as the people fight back to get the good congrass back.

No one can hurt our Country because God is with us, and He will help us if we are rightous. Us Americans will deffit everything that comes in our path. We will not fail! We are not a failing Country! We will concore all and be better off then we were yesterday!

This County is the best thing that has happened to our world. If we loose this we are in serious trouble.

But as God is my witness I will not let this country fail. I am going to try to do everything right so we can once again enjoy peace in this life once again. This is my Country and I won't see if fall!

New Year, New Me

I have such a good feeling about this year already! I am so excited to be able to start this year out right after a hard last year. It seems now that everything is finally getting put in place. I feel happy, I started a workout routine, I have the gospel in my life, I am reading the scriptures every night with my family, I have a wonderful husband that loves me and keeps me safe and protects me, and I have a lovely little girl who is getting bigger each day. I couldn't have been blessed more. This just couldn't be better.

IT has been a crazy month

It has been a really crazy month.

Thanksgiving was a lot of fun with the family all around. We had our famous girls only tradition of cooking while watching the macys parade. The boys went and played football while we cooked. We had an awesome meal and got to share what we were thankful for while we ate. Then we had our yummy dessarts. It was nice to have to whole family together cause we don't get that too often. Families are special and we are very close, so anytime we can get together memories are shared and not forgotten.

Ami, Amanda, Mom, and I did our tradtional shopping the day after Thanksgiving. We all meet at Target and then shopped around Walmart. We had a blast together like we always do. Holidays are fun when you are around your family, you can't beat that any day!

We went to ohio that weekend with dans parents to visit there grandma and uncle. Grandma evans and uncle mark loved macy so much. grandma evans held baby macy for a good while. Dan and I got to see the new moon with his uncle. It was kind of cheesy but good.

Dan I and macy got to go to vienna, va for a class that dan had to go to for work. While he was in his class, macy and I went to the dc zoo. I got really lost as I was trying to find it, but eventually found it and had a good time. The only thing was that a lot of the exhibits were closed. Then I got lost on the way back. The kicker is that I had this tom tom that I had just bought to show me how to get there and it lead me to the right place, I just never saw the enterance. So after an hour I finally realized the stupid tom tom was right all along and I got myself lost. LOL-well it wasn't funny when it was happening, but I can laugh at it now.
We also took a drive to the tysons corner mall the next day, and after a half hour I finally figured out how to turn on the right street to get to the mall. I kept missing the street or I was in the wrong lane and it was very hard to turn around. Well we enjoyed walking around that huge mall, and got a lot of exercise. Let me tell you, there was a ton of stores and 3 stories in some places. It was a lot of fun just window shopping, too bad macy couldn't really enjoy it too much. She slept a lot of the time.

A week ago we got a christmas tree. It was the day I found out macy had an ear infection. on our way home that night we stopped at a christmas place and dan got out of the car and picked a tree for us, since it was raining and all I stayed in the car with macy. It was also kind of dark outside. When we got the tree home dan tryed to put it on the stand we had and the tree stand broke. We tryed to straighten it and the tree feel to the floor like in the movies when the tree falls. it was funny, but scary. LOL! Dan went to walmart and bought a new stand and a cover for it.

Yesterday Dan was coming home from work and was driving through a bad traffic accident. He was on the highway for 2 hours moving really slow. Then when he finally got off the highway the cavilier's died in the middle of the road. We found out the clutch feel to pieces and killed the car. Now we had to get a new car, which is awesome, but I don't really want to spend this time looking for a car. We now have 8 days before Christmas and we have to get a car. It is for the best though. we needed one anyways. It was going to die soon enough, it just choose now to do it.

All in all, we are having a fun time. I guess you can say a lot has been going on. We have all been sick with a cold/flu thing that is going around. I just hope we get better before Christmas next week. We hope you all enjoy your Christmas and have a great new years eve. I will write more later, perhaps next year! LOL! TAA TAA for now.

Being Thanksgiving and all we wanted to let everyone know how blessed we have been. We are happy to still be close to family and friends! Macy is healthy and growing fast. She is so big as you can see in the pictures. She is a happy little girl with lots of laughs and smiles and more to come.
We are looking forward to the holiday seasons so we can be around family more often and enjoy our time together.

We didn't get the house we wanted but we still ended up with a really nice place to stay in until something else comes up. We live on the main floor, with a huge patio!! Actually the house is 6000 sq feet and we only get 1200 sq feet of it, that have 10 foot ceilings. So you can see that it is really big!! We even have a little bit of a yard in the front. We have been happy here.

Halloween

2 weeks before Halloween and we decided to carve pumkins for family night. So we turned on some scary music and started carving. We tried to bake the seeds but it was very late when we got done so I sooked them for a few nights and baked them later in the week. The pumkins ended up dieing before Halloween night so we got 2 more and cute them out a few days before. We had a good time, it just seemed like time went by way too fast.

A week befor Halloween we went to Rich's fright farm, while Louise watched Macy for us. I was the first time we had done anything alone since Macy was born. We ended up taking Aaron with us so he could go with his friends. We had so much fun. I remember taking Aaron and his friend home listening to what they were talking about and listening to what Dan and I were talking about. I realized we sounded so much older as we were talking and wondering how Macy was doing, and they were talking about how much fun they had, had. boy oh boy, i am old when we start sounding like parents. LOL

Halloween came and we all had family pictures done together. Later that night we all went trick or treating. Macy dressed up as a bumble bee (for Jim). She was so cute.

For Macy's blessing the whole family came to church to listen and help out. Dan did such a great job for his first child. It was short, but very sweet and very good. I had tears in my eyes. I was very proud of him. After church we all went to mom's for dinner and to hang out with fam. It was an exciting day for us all.

She is finally here! Macy Elizabeth Amrine was born September 12th 2009 at 9:44pm. She was 6 lbs 11onz and 20 inches long. What a cutie! We were worried at first, but, Mother and baby are doing fine now.

Camping Trip

Dan has been having a very stressful and depressing month with work. I decided he needed a break. Dan wanted to go camping to get away from everything. I told him that would be fine with me.
We went to Abrams Creek, which is close to Mt Storm, only an hour and a half from Fairmont. It't not too bad! It has just about all you need to a camp site, just have to bring your things you want. We did forget blankets, and pillows, but made due with the sleeping bags we brought.
We had a blast, except when Rachel had to go to the bathroom 3-4 times in the middle of the night. LOL!!!
We went swimming at the Mt Storm Lake, tried to fish too but never caught anything, played card games, ate nice camping food, and just had a good time.
We are glad to be back where we have a bathroom and a nice bed. LOL!!

Pedicure

Ami and I got a pedicure done right before I went camping with Dan. I took a picture of my feet to show what I got done. We had a nice time, although I got lost and got there later then I wanted to. I just had bad directions! Frustrating! By the time I got there Ami was almost done with her's. When I got mine done we went to the outlet stores. I bought some CROCS for Dan and I for our weekend get away trip. We had a good time. Then Off I went to go camping!

Columbus Ohio Temple Trip

Dan and I have been having a stressful month, with work and everything else. I wanted to go to the temple before I had our baby Macy. We decided to go to the Columbus Ohio temple. I think it felt like a year since we had gone before. We just seemed to be so busy we couldn't go.
Of course you always have that stressful day before where nothing goes right. We also had the stressful morning when we left and thought maybe we shouldn't go.
We went anyways!
We have friends that live in Parkersburg, so we stayed with them Friday night. They let us sleep in there nice bed and made us breakfast in the morning.
We went to the Temple Saturday afternoon. It was amazing! We received an answer to our prayers and felt great the rest of the day!
Dan then took me to Ohio State University, where he attened school there for a year. We drove around the campus and he showed me where he use to live. That was a neat. After that nice tour, we drove home. We really had a great time and are both happy to have gone one last time before the baby comes.

FISHING

Our fishing trip was in Pleasent Valley Falls. We didn't find one thing in that water. We only went for about an hour and decided to leave. It was a beautiful day though. We were going to go look at some houses after we fished for an hour, but the houses fell through and went off the market the day before. So we decided to go swimming in Morgantown (because we have passes). So we went home to look for our swim suits and realized we had left them in Nabraska. Oops. So we ended up at home eating junk food, playing games, and watching a movie for the rest of the day. We were so bumbed we didn't want to go or do anything else. The day ended up to being very depressing. At least the fishing was fun.

It was a long trip for us all! Louise, Dan, and I all drove down together for David and kyra's wedding. On the way there we took two days to travel to take our time. On the drive home we had to rush it, because it was Sunday and Monday was work for Louise and Dan. So we drove all the way from NE to WV in 18 hours! I don't know how I made it, but I do know I was sleeping a lot of the trip back! Louise and Dan told me I did a very good job traveling. Of course, I was very appreciative of them for letting me stop every hour and a half or two for bathroom breaks. Let's just say it was a long drive back! We left at 8am WV time and got home around 2:30am Monday.

David's Wedding

David and Kyra's wedding was beauiful, as was the reception. We had a lot of family come to celebrate it, which made it a lot of fun! I didn't get any pictures of the Picnic dinner after the wedding, but it was just a picnic. everyone played games, Dan and I went for a walk by the lake, we ate hamburgers, hot dogs, and all that BBQ food, We visited with family, and after it was all over, we cleaned up and went home.

Our First Crib!

When we went to the 4th of July Family Reunion, we picked up a crib we found from craigslist.com. We got home and put it together the next day. This is the Crib we got! We love it! The rocking chair was given to us from Jim and Louise Amrine. I asked them for that for my Baby Shower gift, so that is what they gave me. Plus a few other idems. I love them both! The Waldron's 4th of July Family Reunion

This was our family reunion with just our family on the fourth of July. We had a blast at Ami and Chris's house grilling away all kinds of food and fun games like the pinata to play. Of course once it got to Aaron it was pretty much beat up, so Lauren cracked it open and us older kids missed the opportunity to take a wack at it. We also went to the park and watched the boys play baseball, which is one of Dan's favorite sports to play! When it got dark and we finished eating, we went on a train to downtown Pittsburgh and saw an amazing firework show. It was a good day for us all.
If you notice in the pictures, Dan's hair is really short. I cut it short for the summer not thinking it would be that short, but messing up really makes you cut a bunch off. LOL1 Anyways he loved it. Now that it is going into Fall, Dan would like to have his hair a little longer. LOL!

Girls Camp 2009

This was Girls Camp. What else do I need to say. You get the point!
Na, I just have to say since I was pregnant this time, I was very hot! Every night I turned on the AC down to 60 making it cold or everyone in the room, but me. I was HOT! The girls complained a little bit, but would say it's ok, she's pregnant. She is aloud to. But it was funny looking at the girls in the morning and seeing the sleeping bags over there heads and blankets on top of the sleeping bags. Waking up they would say, It's cold, (or) It's Freezing in here, when I would think it felt perfect! LOL! That was my story for Girls Camp! It was fun though! Now all the girls want me to come back so they can see the baby. I don't know if I would be able to do that, but we will see. LOL :)

Man, this took forever to finish! just so many pictures and not enough room for them. I am glad to be finally done with this though. It shows I did something else in the last month. I ended up doing this slide show 3 times to finish it. My computer kept freezing on me. Not fun!
We had a great time, and ended up seeing a lot of things in the limit of time that we had there. Like people say, so little time and so much you want to do. Well we did just about all of it. There was a few things I didn't do, but I got a good look at what New Orleans is all about though. I hope you enjoy it!

This past Sunday we had Ward Conference. My family came to visit us at church because mom had to speak and dad had meetings. Well after church and all the meetings were done I took Angela and Kathryn to our house. It was Dans Birthday! They played Sims2 on our computer. Kathryn and I made Mac and Cheese and Dan made veggies for lunch. We then took them home and we went to Dan's parents for his birthday dinner with his family. We had a great time and a good day!

Dan and I got tired of the old cage gracie had. She was making messes with the bedding by kicking it all over the floor. We decided to get a glass tank. So far I think she likes it and if gracie (our hampster) dies Dan said he could get a lizard to put in this cage that we got. I hope we don't get a lizard, but i guess you never know.

I thought you might like the picture. The baby is in the middle (you can see the head). I was 10 weeks and 6 days, (11 weeks) the baby is only 3 centimeters long and has fully developed everything. Can you imagine how small the tongue is?
When we were at the doctors office we saw the baby playing with the yoke and moving like crazy. We also heard the heart beat and WOW it was strong! The due date was for Sept. 5th 2009. Dan and I are both excited and nervous.

Dan's 2 hour hair cut and our first fishing trip of the year!

You will never believe this but I watch this hair cutting DVD 2-3 times in a row, once in spanish. I wanted to get it down right and not mess up this time. I tried to cut Dans hair again for my 3rd effort try this last Saturday, and no kidding, it took me a good two hours. You can imagine how Dan was feeling by the first hour and only half way done. hee! hee! Any how, I am a perfectionist when it comes to things like this, and I had to have it done right! I think this time I did a much better job on it and wanted to see your thoughts! It's not perfect, but it's better then the second time I did it. oh and I did cut both his ears on the top tips. oops!

Anyways, once I was done with that we got ready and went for a drive down to Valley Falls to fish for our first time this year. We got our licence's and bate and went all out. When we got there the lake was frozen and farther down the road it was closed for the winter. We continued down to Tygrat Lake and tried our fishing there instead. Of course we didn't catch anything this time, it might be too early.
We plan on taking a camping trip very soon though for Dans Birthday. It will be sometime this month. We are going to try out our new camping gear we got for Christmas and maybe try some fishing. Hopefully we will have more luck this time. We shall keep you posted on more details.

Dan Fixed Dads old Violin!!

Dan had a great idea for Christmas this past year. He saw my dads old violin from when he was in school, back in the day, but had every piece missing from it that he needed to play. Even the bow was bad. Dan took both my old one and dads to a music store to see how much it would be to fix them up. Mine was worped and made poorly but dads just need some parts for it to play. It was a little more then we could afford, so Dan had the crazy idea of fixing it himself. Although he had never done it before, he plays very well and knows a lot about them. He got advice from the music stores and ordered the tools online to fix it up. I took apart my violin and used the pieces for dads. That way we didn't have to pay for any parts. To make a long store short, he put dads violin together, played it to see if it worked and we went off new years eve and gave it to him. It wasn't done professionally, but it still worked ok! Good Job Dan!!

What a man he is. It was snowing outside and getting really cold too! He said I could put up some Christmas lights and he would change my left blinker light that was all rusted and stopped working.
When I went out to check on him and he was just about done. He was listening to Christmas music from the car radio as he was working. I thought it was so cute. I had to make it a kodak moment if you know what I mean!

Last night we went to a garden center where they were selling Real Christmas Tree's, which Dan and I both really love! We found the perfect one all wrapped up and ready to be put in our car! We went to Walmart to buy some decorations for the tree as well. When we got home we decorated the tree and watched elf. We had such a fun time together! Now we have the smell of the lovely pine tree in our living/family room. I took a picture of the tree when we were finally done. Let me know what you think.

Thanksgiving!

We went to Dan's Grandms's place to be with her for a very nice Thanksgiving lunch! After we visited with her, we went home to our my parents house for a Thanksgiving dinner. We had Mom and Dad Amrine over as well!
What a great way to spend the Holidays, when you can have your family live so close you are able to have it together.
We ate about 4pm, watched Walie the Disney movie, and we played phase 10 together. After the games we had yummy pumpkin pie, chocolate, coconut, and banana cream pies. That was greatness.
We are now very excited to get together again for the Christmas Holiday spirt, to be able to see even more family and have more fun and games together like past years!

Our Apartment House

Since some of you have not seen our home I was thinking I could show it to you. It has a few things wrong with it like floors likes to dip here and there and aren't straight, cracks in the walls, no dishwasher, or garbage disposal, but I got the hard wood in the kitchen now. It's not what we want to have for the rest of our life, but we are happy for now! We can't wait for a house though!

Our 1st Anniversary! Nov. 23, 2007

Our first Anniversary and all is well! I gotta just tell you a little bit of how sweet a guy Dan is to me. We had plans to pick him up at the airport on Friday from being in Houston all week (He was planing on getting me a coat from Houston for our Anniversary, but they didn't have the one he was going to get me when they said they did). We would have dinner at Benihana's Resturant, sleep over at Ami's house, and go to the Zoo the next day. He had plans to take me behind the seens to feed and pet the animals, because he knew how much I love them. Then we would go home after that fun and exciting day.
Well, we went to the Resturant Friday, Saturday it turned out to be 20 degrees, cold, and wet. The Zoo wouldn't work out. The behind the seens was a good idea which I loved, but turned out to be $1600. It wasn't open to the public, so it feel through. But how nice of a man to try to do that for me!!!
We got a free pass to the museum from Ami to use, so we saw the T-Rex exhibit. That was fun, then we had lunch there and left.
We drove for a good half hour or hour after that trying to find the strip district, finally found it and couldn't find a parking spot for another half hour. That was our life that day, and Dan was getting really frustrated. When we finally made it, it turned out to be a lot of fun. We went to the Sea Food Store and bought too much...fish, shrimp, decided to try rabbit, and a few other things. We went to a sausage store and got some salami, and then we basically went home and watched our first season of 24 that we had just got.
Sunday we both had to teach our classes, I had 2 classes to teach and it wasn't really fun, but I think Dan did ok. We left right after church.
We made a nice lunch/dinner for us with fish, rice, potatoes, and veggies.
We tried our cake that had been frozen forever, and it suprised us how yucky it really was. The frosting was gross, the rest of the cake didn't taste as bad. I don't know about how all yours turned out, but mine didn't turn out as well as we thought it would.
Dan was so excited to try it for the longest time that when we did try it, he was disappointed. After that we watched more 24 and ate some snacks while laying on our couch bed.
He ordered me a coat and got me flowers and a big chocolate bar for my gift and I got him a CTR ring and an angel moroni tie tack.
Our Anniversary was funny and sad at the same time. Though our plans didn't really work out the way they had, we had a good time and next year hopefully will be better!

Hair Cut

My very first time trying to cut hair and I did an ok job! I didn't cut the top because Dan wants it longer in the front. It not perfect but Dan was a good sport with me and actually wanted me to give it a try. He said "If you mess up you can always buzz it". I didn't want that to happen so I am glad it worked out ok! The hair cut is the mushroom style that my brothers had growing up.

This Wednesday we had a Church trunk or treat activity. Played Games inside, then went out to the cars to give out candy! This is how Dan and I showed up. We wanted to be vampires. our makeup kind of changed color on us while at the church, but it was still a lot of fun!

I need to do laundry today, so in between loads I decieded to try something new. I tried to make my first Halloween cake. baked a cake and made frosting. then I had a pumkin stencil decorate the top of the cake. I also wanted to make some bread. It was a very cold day as you can tell.

Dan got some free tickets and free parking pass from his work to the Marshall, WVU Football game. We had to go! It was a lot of fun. We left 7 minutes early because of traffic and got home in a good time. At first we thought it was going to be such a boring game and we thought we were going to loose. But late first half they started to kick butt! It was one of the best games we could have picked to watch. We WON!!!

Rachels Birthday

For Rachel's Birthday mom was out of town visiting her mother and call her and wouldn't be home until later that evening. Dad called her and wished her a happy birthday.

Then told her if she wanted to come over for cake and ice cream he would make me a cake and get ice cream. This is my dads cake that he made for me! that is awesome! My dad rocks!

So she went home for her fathers cake that he made for her.

All the family sang to Rachel and had a party!

Dan took her to the temple that Friday.

Then to the Baltimore aquirium Saturday. We didn't know there was suppose to be a tropical storm that day and got a little wet! We get to Baltimore park walk outside only to find our unbrella went up and over few times from the wind, we almost got blown away as well, but eventually made it inside! We saw the dalphin show, the 4D film, and a bunch of other things.

Then we went to the cheesecake factory for lunch/dinner.

When we got to the hotel we watched baseball and ate our cheese cake for dessert.

MOVED TO FAIRMONT

That's right, we no longer live in Charleston but, in Fairmont. Boy are we pumped up in this area. We love it so much more! The ward here is so great, we are closer to home, and Dan doesn't have to drive too far to get to work either!
Although we would like to be living in our own home, right now we live upstairs in a 2 bedroom house apartment that will have to do. It had a lot of things that we want to fix around it and imagine even buying it to fix it up! But the house does have it's problems and, we would probably be putting in more money in then it is worth. We have a huge back yard that we share, a basement we share for laundry, a garage that we share (so we have a lot of storage), and much more space which is why we got it!
Our nieghborhood is so quite and friendly! Lisa, her mother, and her son live downstairs and are very friendly to us. They are thinking of moving in the fall though. We also have a police man across the street, and a teacher next door! It is a very safe area which we are happy about!
The only down fall is we are in charge of mowing the lawn(which dan does)(it gives him good exercise), we don't have a garbage disposal, no dish washer, and have carpet in the kitchen which we are trying to get ride of!
So for now this place is good enough! we like it and are feeling more comfortable every day here.

These are my children I teach at the child care center (Thats right, I am the teacher)! They look cute but that can be decieving!! We have fun though! I will try and teach them all I know and can!

Dans dad had a Bee's Conference in Jackson County Fairgrounds. Dans mom went with him to meet up with Dan and I. We all met at the fairgrounds and got to tour the Wars and Myths of Point Pleasent while dad was at this conference. This first picture is when we took a brake by the Kanawha River and saw a bardge going through a lock. The 2nd picture was a statue of Chief Cornstock and General Lewis reminding people of the battlefield of Point Pleasent.

These next picture is of the Myth of the Moth Man. Legend has it that a few people saw the half moth half man right before the Silver Bridge fell and blame the fault on him. It's not really true, but people still believe this Myth. The next picture is of Dan steering a boat.

This last picture is what is left of the Sliver Bridge! pretty crazy!! We had a great time! We had a great visit and a great dinner all together before we left our seperate ways.

Dan was so upset with Midnight dieing, that I had to do something for him. I told him I would get him a new bunny or we can even get some fish! He agreed and we went to the pet store! He thought about another bunny and then said "I don't want to kill another one, I want to start out small". Then we looked at fish, but when we found out how much it was for everything we said we can get them later! So we looked at hampsters! Dan said "this what I want! This is perfect for me right now! Its small, and it fits in our appartment too!" So we got 2! Dan is happy again, they are so cute and life is great again!
The only thing is Sadie (our cat) loves them even more then we do! She watches them like a hawk! Whenever I am looking for her or call her I check our room first and there she is laying on the floor watching them play. hee! hee! It's crazy but cute.

In Memroy of Midnight "Our beloved Bunny"

Midnight~Born May 2007 and died April 2008. Rachel bought Midnight for Dan when Midnight was a baby to keep Dan company while he was in Charleston. He lived a full year of life that reached a tragic end.
Sunday he was ok or so it seemed , and alive from what we saw! Then suddenly, Monday night came and almost went but midnight didn't make it. We were in the middle of cleaning our room (it needed cleaned very bad) when Dan found him stiff as a board laying in his cage. He was still a little warm!
He served his purpose well by helping Dan in his time of need and will always be remembered as one of the best gifts Dan had ever recieved. He and Dan went through a lot together.
We had a short but sweet little funeral and buried him away in the dumpster because we had no shovels. He is in a better place now chewing on the think grass and clover in heaven.

Midnight finished his work here on earth for a job well done! For that we will ever be grateful!

We love you Midnight and we will miss you a lot!!

I CAUGHT A FISH!!!

Pictures say 1000 words! dan and I won a fishing pole at a car dealership and decided this weekend we would try it out. he also bought another one so I could try too! well we went down about 20 miles from our home and dan set everything up. I had it in my head that I don't think I was going to even get the sting out far enough, but I must have done something right. I casted the fishing pole out and bam...it was bit. I tried railing it in, but the string was getting snagged. so I started pulling the string in with my hands. and I got this amazing fish. WOW! I was so excited!!! it was my first time really ever catching one! I couldn't let it die though, so I let it go back into the water!!! I felt bad for the fishie!!

now you gotta be crazy not to take a picture of this! we were cleaning our room yesterday and man oh man...dan says...my pants are wrinkled. Im going to iron them! what?? that is something you never hear a man say!! hee hee hee hee well he ended up doing 3 or 4 pairs before he stopped. then just hung the rest up. that was a fun night.

Well I guess its my turn. I am never really on this so forgive me for waiting so long. I guess I have to answer some questions about myself and send it to 4 other people so here goes...
1. Where I was 10 years ago:I was in high school (my junior year)
2. 5 things on my "to do list" today: take shower, check e-mail, talk to dan on his lunch break, sweep the kitchen, do the dishes
3. Things I would do if I were a billionaire: travel the world, have a nice wordrobe and be in style, live anywhere but in a 1 bedroom appartment hee hee, have a 2 story house with a basement, have a lot of land, a farm and/or garden and live close to the city.
4. 3 of my bad habits: 1. bitting nails (but quitting) 2. I love food 3. not working and becoming lazy.
5. 5 places I have lived: Garden Grove, CA, Huntington Beach CA, Morgantown WV, South Africa/Namibia, and Charleston WV.
6. 5 jobs that I have had: fast food, lowes, super 8, FBI center, executive secretary
7. Something most people don't know about me: I sang at the hollywood bowl when I was little.

For Dan's Bithday we went to Pittsburgh to see the lion king play. It was good, but we were thinking it was going to be better. We thought the costumes were a bit wierd and decided that we liked the movie better. hee hee. On our way there we got lost trying to find the hotel. They had no signs for it, so we were running late. An hour later with a frustrated husband we find it. We didn't have time to go to a nice restorant before the show. :( we did however, in a hurry, have time to eat something before we got in. feew!! We made it! When we sat down at our nice orchestra seats, I had a tall man sit in front of me so I couldn't see for half the play! :( yeah that was a bummer but intermission we switched seats so we could both see! All in all we really did still have a blast!

On the day of the wedding I was a mess! Daniel kept coming over and I was not even near ready. I told him to go get me some hose, even though I didn't need them! HEE HEE HEE HEE! when he was done I told him to go home for a while and hang out with his parents. he said he didn't want to. well then I said hey I am not ready I am really nervous and please go home for a little bit. I felt so sick I thought I would loose it. Well I finally finished and told him to pick me up. we went off without my family (who were still getting ready). about half way to the temple we endding up stopping for me so I can throw up. I guess I was a lot nervous. We bought some orange juice and nuts to snack on the rest of the way. We finally made it to the temple and prepared for the wedding. We had to wait 2-3 hours for my grandparents to get here because they had made a wrong turn and got lost. By the time our ceramony was over (which was amazing), it was about 5pm and we were supose to have gotten married at 2pm. oops! so we took just a few pictures at the temple because the sun was setting. this is one of the prettest pictures I have seen.

Unlike most brides, I did not go to the beauty salon to get her hair, nails, and toes done. Instead I had my mother do the work for my wedding and bridal pictures. We were both able to save money this way and I still looked pretty good for my pictures.
I was able to go to the Friary in Morgantown,WV to take these pictures. It was very cold that day, if you can't tell in my pictures, that I couldn't feel my hands. They turned out really well. So take a look at these pictures and tell me what you think!

Dan and Rachel's First Christmas Together!

We had the best time together. Dan got home from work early and met me at the grocery store so we could pick out some food for dinner. Then we went home and made ham and corn chowder together with juice to drink. We then watche the Christmas Story together. Then we opened our gifts and stockings that we got each other. We also had stocking for our bunny and cat. they got toys to play with and some nice snacks. The following day we traveled to Morgantown for Christmas with our families. We had a great time together and will never forget our first Christmas together.
